Miles for Miles Foundation donates $350,000 to rename inclusive playground

FIRST OF ITS KIND INCLUSIVE PARK WHERE EVERYONE CAN PLAY

The Miles Together Playground is named in honor of Miles Peck, who was born with Down syndrome. The Peck family lives in Brentwood and founded the Miles for Miles Foundation, a nonprofit that works to enhance the lives of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The foundation donated $350,000 toward the playground project.
The inclusive playground provides a place where children of all abilities can play side by side, sharing in the delight of childhood adventures.
But this space isn’t just about play; it’s also a place for families to come together and forge lasting memories. A place where siblings, regardless of their abilities, can play alongside each other, fostering bonds that transcend any perceived differences.

The Miles Together Inclusive Playground is located at Granny White Park at 610 Granny White Pike in Brentwood. The park is open from dusk to dawn seven days a week.
